Homegrown & Homemade

Thoroughout the coming months you will be able to purchase my homegrown Chilli Plants and Fresh Chillies, together with my homemade Chilli Sauces, Chilli Jelly and Chilli Chocolate. Contact me for postal deliveries also available from a number of Cornish Country Fayres (see my News & Events page).
In early 2012, I will compile a list of the Chilli Plants I intend to grow (see below, sorry for the delay), and available by the Summer for you to purchase. If you're lucky, I might be persuaded to sell some of my precious chilli seeds for those of you wishing to grow your own plants from seed.
WHAT'S GROWING - A slow start to the year, this weather isn't helping much. So, this year I'm growing some Peruvian Chillies from the town of Moquegua in Peru which were very kindly given to me by Carlos. (I'm very excited to be growing these, even the leaves smell spicy) Rocoto Torata, Rocoto Rojo, Aji Colorado and Aji Amarillo. Other varieties growing well are Explosive Ember (pictured above with the purple chillies), Numex Suave Orange (also known as Apricot Habanero, all the taste of a smokey habanero but with only a little heat), Numex Twilight, Piccante Satan's Kiss (which I always mis-spell and call Santa's Kiss, which I prefer!) Red Scotch Bonnet, Bulgarian Carrot, Little Elf, Fatalli, Thai Super Chilli and a few more.

Each year I grow a variety of different chilli plants, some my all time favourites alongside new and challenging varieties. The list is endless, there are hundreds of chilli varieties to choose from, that's part of the attraction; discovering and growing new and unusally plants.
My chillies are grown from seed following organic principles, giving peace of mind that no harmful pesticides of any kind have been used, hopefully ensuring each chilli plant produces healthy and great tasting fresh chillies - naturally.
